Thermocouple Assemblies

On the following pages is a flexible system that enables you to utilize part numbers to specify high-quality Gayesco sheathed thermocouples. This system is based upon nine indicators, represented by the nine boxes at the top of each page, which identify the following critical elements of a thermocouple:

Calibration: The thermocouple alloys used to form the thermocouple;

Sheath Data: Sheath O.D. and sheath material;

Measuring Junction: The electrical relationship of the thermocouple to the sheath (i.e., grounded, ungrounded, etc.) and junction configuration (i.e., exposed tip, weld pad, etc.);

Sheath Length: Length from transition to tip;

Cold End: Transition and extension wire;

Mounting Hardware: To secure thermocouple assembly;

Thermocouple Connections: Connection Head Options.
